Roaming.

Before roaming, please ensure the following settings are in place on your phone before you travel. 

While in Ireland go to settings on your Phone and select:

Phone
Sim applications
When abroad
Select Mode
Automatic
This “Automatic” setting should remain in place when you are abroad and back home.

Also, please ensure the following:

Mobile data while roaming is enabled

To do this, navigate to:

  • For Android: Settings -> WiFi & Internet -> SIM & Network -> SIM -> Roaming -> On

  • For Apple: Settings -> Mobile Data -> Mobile Data Options -> Roaming On

The APN field is set to “tescomobile.liffeytelecom.com” as per the screenshots below.

To do this, navigate to:

  • For Android: Settings -> WiFi & Internet -> SIM & Network -> SIM -> Access Point Names -> APN -> set to “tescomobile.liffeytelecom.com

  • For Apple: Settings -> Mobile Data -> Mobile Data Network
