Tesco Mobile (Bill Pay) / Clubcard Deals Customer

Terms and Conditions (28th April 2014) until 22 August 2018

This agreement covers Tesco Mobile terms and conditions in relation to Tesco Mobile Bill Pay Clubcard Boost with Partners (formally Clubcard Deals) only. Tesco Mobile customers are also bound by the terms and conditions of Tesco Mobile. Tesco Clubcard customers are also bound by the terms and conditions of Tesco Clubcard.

  1. Eligibility
    • 1.1 Customers who wish to avail of the Clubcard Boost with Partners Tesco Mobile Bill Pay deal must be a Tesco Mobile customer and must have a valid Tesco Clubcard registered to their Tesco Mobile account.
    • 1.2 Participating customers agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of Tesco Mobile Clubcard Boost with Partners scheme.
    • 1.3 Tesco Mobile Bill Pay customers who are in arrears of more than 60 days and whose arrears are greater than or equal to €15 will be unable to redeem credit from Clubcard vouchers against their Tesco Mobile phone bill or earn Clubcard points on their mobile bill until such time as all arrears have been paid in full, unless these customers are on an active repayment plan.
  2. Registration

    In order to avail of Tesco Mobile Clubcard Boost with Partners, Tesco Mobile customers must register their Tesco Clubcard to their Tesco Mobile account. Customers can register their Clubcard in the following ways

    • 2.1 Online via My Tesco Mobile.
    • 2.2 Calling Customer Care on 089 420 000 or 1749 from a Tesco Mobile.
    • 2.3 Texting the word CLUBCARD followed by their Clubcard number to 1749 from their Tesco Mobile phone.
  3. Tesco Clubcard Vouchers
    • 3.1 Upon receipt of Tesco Clubcard vouchers, Tesco Mobile customers can exchange them for credit which can be used in payment against their Tesco Mobile Bill pay bill in accordance with the rules set out below.
    • 3.2 To redeem these vouchers you should:
      1. 3.2.1 Go to Select Tesco Mobile Bill Pay Deal and enter the 12 digit online code(s) printed on your Clubcard voucher(s) in the request form.
      2. 3.2.2 A unique authorisation code will be sent to your registered email address within 24 hours.
      3. 3.2.3 Once you have received your authorisation code, text BILLDEALS followed by the authorisation code to 1744 to make a payment to your Tesco Mobile Bill Pay account (you will receive a confirmation SMS to let you know that your payment has been received)
    • 3.3 The value of the payment is triple the face value of the Tesco Clubcard voucher exchanged (e.g. €5 in Clubcard vouchers equals €15 in credit)
    • 3.4 The minimum voucher amount to be exchanged for a Tesco Mobile Bill Pay bill payment is €5. Thereafter, vouchers are only accepted in increments of €5.
    • 3.5 A credit for the payment will appear on a customer’s account in the next billing cycle. N.B. this can take up to 31 days.
    • 3.6 Credit can be applied against a registered Tesco Mobile Bill Pay account only.
    • 3.7 Payments can only be applied against one registered account i.e. credit cannot be split between multiple accounts.
    • 3.8 Authorisation codes are non-transferable and can only be used in payment against the registered Tesco Mobile account holder’s account.
    • 3.9 Credit authorisation codes are valid for six months from the date of issue.
    • 3.10 Payments will only be credited against an account holder’s outstanding bill balance and cannot be provided as cash if the customers’ account is in credit.
    • 3.11 There are no cash alternatives to vouchers.
  4. Tesco Clubcard Points
    • 4.1 Tesco Mobile customers can earn double Clubcard points on every euro spent on their Tesco Mobile Bill Pay bill.
    • 4.2 The customer must register their Tesco Clubcard to their Tesco Mobile account in order to ensure Clubcard points are awarded with every bill payment.
    • 4.3 In order for your points to be awarded to your Tesco Clubcard Tesco Mobile will regularly update Tesco with the points you have earned and will provide Tesco with your Clubcard Number and unique identification number along with information related to payments made to your account. By registering you are authorising us to pass this information onto Tesco.

  5. Tesco Clubcard - Promotional Clubcard Points
    • 5.1 You can earn promotional Clubcard Points from time to time on certain offers (at the discretion of Tesco Mobile).
    • 5.2 The terms and conditions set out in clause 4.0 above apply to these promotional Clubcard Points.
    • 5.3 From time to time, we may offer you promotional points for registering your Tesco Clubcard on your Tesco Mobile account. These points will only be applied only once to your account.

  7. Data Protection and Privacy Policy

    These terms and conditions are subject to Tesco Mobile’s Privacy and Security conditions.

  8. General
    • 8.1 We reserve the right to vary these terms and conditions at any time and will notify you of the proposed changes. By continuing to use the Tesco Mobile website and avail of Tesco Clubcard points after being notified of the changes you will be deemed to have accepted such changes.
    • 8.2 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your use of Tesco Mobile Clubcard Deals at any time if you do not adhere to these terms and conditions of use.
    • 8.3 Tesco Mobile shall not be liable for any loss suffered by any person or be deemed to be in default for any delays or failures in performance hereunder resulting from acts or causes beyond the reasonable control of Tesco Mobile.
    • 8.4 These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland and any disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
