Prepay Plans.

What Plans are Available?

We have two Prepay plans, our new plan Prepay Data Plus will be our default plan which will suit people who use more data and Prepay 15 which will suit those who prefer to talk more.

What Do I Get on this Plan?

Prepay Data Plus - When you Top up by €15 in one go, you will receive 28 days of allowances including 100GB of data (the average person only uses 13GB in Ireland), 500 minutes to any network, 500 texts to any network and unlimited calls and texts to all other Tesco Mobile customers. All elements will expire after 28 days. You will need to Top up by more than €15 if you want to use credit on something outside your allowances such as international calls or roaming outside of the EU etc.

Prepay 15 - When you Top up by €15 in one go, you will receive 28 days of unlimited calls to any network, 15GB data, free texts to all other Tesco Mobile customers and €15 credit. All elements will expire after 28 days, including the €15 credit if unused.

By topping up €10 on either plan, you will receive unlimited calls and texts to all other Tesco Mobile customers for 28 days and keep your credit to spend on the Tesco Mobile network.

By topping up €5 on either plan, you will receive unlimited texts to all other Tesco Mobile customers for 28 days and keep your credit to spend on the Tesco Mobile network.

 

How do I Join Prepay 15?

New Tesco Customer?

All our new prepay customers who join Tesco Mobile from 14th July 2022 are automatically signed up to the Prepay Data Plus plan but can choose to switch over to Prepay 15 if you would prefer less data and more minutes.

Already a customer?

If you are already with Tesco Mobile on another Prepay plan, then you must switch to join either of these plans. You can call our Care Centre on1749 or simply text us.

- Text 'Join Plus' to 1744 to join Prepay Data Plus.

- Text 'Join Prepay 15' to 1744 to join Prepay 15.

You will receive a confirmation text that your plan has been changed. Top up by €15 in one go to activate your new plan for 28 days. To keep your plan active, you need to Top up by €15 every 28 days. Please note that your allowances will not activate if you Top up before joining the plan. The plan will become active on the first top up after joining the plan. We recommend you wait until you receive text confirmation that you have signed up to the new plan successfully before topping up.

Clubcard Double Data

Customers on Prepay Data Plus can double their minutes from 500 to 1,000 minutes when you register your Clubcard to your Tesco Mobile account. Double minutes will apply from your next Top up of €15 or more in one go.

Customers on Prepay 15 can double their data from 15GB to 30GB when you register your Clubcard to your Tesco Mobile account. Double Data will apply from your next Top up of €15 or more in one go.

Call Charges

Applicable rates for Prepay Customers

Calls to landlines and mobiles within the Republic of Ireland 35c per min
Texts to all mobiles within the Republic of Ireland 15c per sms
Data usage outside of bundle 10c per MB

All chargeable calls to Irish landlines & mobiles outside of your allowance or in excess of fair usage policy will be subject to a call set up fee of 9c.
A minimum of one minute will be charged, after which, per second billing will apply.

For all data usage outside of your allowance, the charge on each session will be per MB with a minimum charge of 1MB.

Frequently Asked Questions

I've topped up €10 and €5 but I didn’t get my unlimited calls, 15GB data and €15 credit?
You must do one top up of €15 or more in one go to activate your allowances for 28 days.

I forgot to top up after the 28 days? That's ok. As soon as you top up by €15 or more in one go, your allowances will activate again for 28 days. 
Customers can also schedule their top up every 28 days with our Tesco Mobile Android or Apple app or via my.tescomobile.ie

How can I check my balance?
You can check your balance at anytime by downloading the Tesco Mobile Android or Apple app or at my.tescomobile.ie
