We’ve designed this welcome guide to help make joining Tesco Mobile as simple as possible.

Just follow the steps and you’ll be saving with us in no time.

Please note, we have updated our Welcome Booklet – you may receive an older version via hardcopy but rest assured the version issued to you electronically via SMS and available on our website is our updated version

Simple steps to get you started

Step 1

Create your new Tesco Mobile account

Setting up a My Tesco Mobile account is a simple way to register your details and manage your phone usage. The easiest way to do this is by downloading the Tesco Mobile app from the Google Play or Apple app Store.

Register your Clubcard

Register your Clubcard

Remember to register your Clubcard number when you are setting up your Tesco Mobile account. That way you can earn double Clubcard points when you top up  and get Double minutes** with our Prepay Data Plus plan when you top up by €15.

Keep your number

Keep your number

Moving your existing number to a Tesco Mobile is easy. Using your Tesco Mobile App, fill out the ‘Move my number’ section and follow the steps. Or call us on 1749 (from your Tesco Mobile) and we can arrange to move your number for you.

Unlock your Phone

Unlock your Phone

If you’ve bought a Tesco Mobile SIM and you’re using a phone you bought from another network, you may need to have your phone unlocked. To get an unlock code, you will need to contact your previous network and tell them the IMEI number. You can find the IMEI number by dialling *#06# from the phone.

Top up

Top up

The simplest way to top up is to add your credit/debit card details to your My Tesco Mobile account and select top up. You can also top up at tescomobile.ie, in any Tesco store, at aib.ie or in over 5,000 locations nationwide where you see these logos.

Register for EU roaming

Register for EU roaming

To roam like at home, make sure you’ve set up a My Tesco Mobile account. Without registration, standard roaming rates will apply. For full information on EU roaming rates and charges, go to EU roaming regulation.

Terms and Conditions

Your agreement is made up of the General Terms and Conditions for Services and your Price Plan. For Pay Monthly customers please review your Contract Form and Contract Summary. For Prepay customers, unless you have opted-in for a specific Prepay offer, you will be automatically signing up to our Prepay Data Plus Plan. See specific plan terms which details the plan cost, duration, allowances and benefits and material terms of the plan, and your Contract Summary.

Refund Guarantee

If you are not happy with your purchase, you can return it within 14 days. You must contact Customer Care on 1903 or by writing to us or you may use our Cancellation Form which is available via the General Terms and Conditions.

The purchase must be returned within 14 days of notifying us, include proof of purchase (usually a receipt). Please ensure the product is in its original packaging, undamaged, and complete with all accessories - see section 1.3.1 of our General Terms and Conditions for further details.
