Switching is easy – just follow our three simple steps.
  1. Buy a phone or sim pack online, in-store or call 089 4941000.
  2. Register your number

Yes you can keep your existing number.
To move your number to Tesco Mobile, login to My Tesco Mobile and go to the Move My Number section. Follow the steps. The process takes about 10 minutes.
If you need to unlock your phone, contact your previous network provider, quoting your phone IMEI, which can be found on the back of the phone under the battery.
My Tesco Mobile is a personalised section of the Tesco Mobile website where you can manage your mobile account, Top Up your phone, check your balance and register a Clubcard, credit card or debit card.
You can register your Clubcard through My Tesco Mobile or text the word CLUBCARD followed by a space and then your Clubcard number (with no spaces) to 1744.

To switch, you will need your current mobile number, your bank details, proof of address and proof of identity. If you are buying online, you will also need a credit or debit card.
If you move from prepay to bill pay, your remaining credit will be transferred to your bill pay account as a credit on your first bill so you don't have to worry about losing it.
You can choose to pay your mobile bill by direct debit, bank transfer or credit/debit card. You will need a credit card if you choose to take out a bill pay contract or buy a phone online.
Bills are issued monthly. To view your bill every month, you will need to register on My Tesco Mobile.
You can end your contract or return to prepay at any time. However, if you want to leave before your contract ends, you must pay a fee equivalent to the remaining monthly rental on the contract.
