Apple Announces the iPhone XS

Apple iPhone XS

After months of teasing, Apple finally announced the hotly anticipated iPhone XS at a special Apple event last week.

The latest must-have smartphone from Apple features an incredible HDR display and a powerful new camera selfie lovers will adore.

The iPhone XS comes with a 5.8-inch Super Retina display complete with specially designed OLED panels that provide what some smartphone insiders are calling the best colour and brightness technology of any smartphone on the market.

The Super Retina display perfectly displays images and offers picture perfect video playback, making this iPhone ideal for HD video content from apps like YouTube and Netflix.

Apple is renowned for producing crowd-pleasing smartphone cameras, and the iPhone XS’ magnificent 12MP dual camera with OIS is guaranteed to appeal to photography lovers of all levels.

The front of the phone is fitted with a 7MP TrueDepth front camera with nifty modes and features such as Portrait, Portrait Lighting, Depth Control and Smart HDR.

Essentially what this means is you’ll be able to wow your friends, family and followers every day with awe-inspiring selfies that will set your Instagram profile alight with likes and comments.

The iPhone XS is water, splash and dust resistant, with the water resistance offering a maximum depth of 2 meters of up to 30 minutes.

It also offers Face ID facial recognition for added security, and handy wireless charging compatibility with Qi wireless chargers (sold separately).

The iPhone XS runs on the recently released iOS 12 and has a boatload of awesome features like Memoji and Screen Time and the as-yet-unreleased Group FaceTime, which promises to revolutionise how we stay in touch.

iOS 12 is arguably the most advanced operating system for any mobile device today and its new tools and systems give you more control than ever.

It’s an amazing smartphone and one that’s truly worthy of the iPhone name.
